After earning his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. 

Dr. Noack was then awarded a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the Foundation for Orthopaedic, Athletic and Reconstructive Research in Houston, Texas, where he served as a team physician for the athletic department at Rice University.
