Just one week ago, I underwent a bunionectomy, and I truly couldn’t imagine a better experience. I feel so fortunate to have had my procedure at the Texas Institute for Surgery—a true gem that feels like a boutique hospital, offering the kind of thoughtful, VIP-level attention every patient deserves.

Dr came in I told him my ankle problem and what I have done since it began. He recommended putting higher heal lifts, use ice on it, take Bromelain and gave me a steroid shot in my Achilles. Said if not better come back in 6 weeks for another injection

My experience with Doctor Cook and his staff has been tremendous from beginning to end. I had Achilles tendon surgery. It was diagnosed and well explained. The options were clear. The surgery experience was excellent. Care during recovery has been amazing.

Dr. Cook is the only doctor to whom I would trust my feet! He has performed successful surgeries on both my feet, and has identified and successfully treated two other foot issues. He identified an issue with my husband’s feet that other doctors could not identify, and successfully treated those too. He’s so very knowledgeable and good at what he does! He explains everything in words I can understand. In my opinion, he’s irreplaceable!

First professional and medical experience was 2010. It was textbook and more. I should have returned in 2024 for my second foot procedure. I regret not choosing Dr. Cook. Now I’ve returned so he can correct the procedure on my right foot. I highly recommend Dr. Cook and his staff.
